Our travels

Choose who visited when editing a place.

How it works

• Click a state to choose who visited, or edit an existing visit.
• Switch to Cities to mark individual cities. A state with any marked city counts as visited.
• Scroll or pinch to zoom, drag to pan. Smaller cities appear as you zoom in.
• Search opens visit details without changing your map view. Use a state name or abbreviation, or “city, state”.
• Use ✎ beside a visited state or city to save when you first visited, a memory and a photo. Hover the state or city dot on the map to preview them.
• Undo restores your last change. Save image exports your current map view as a PNG.
• One shared map shows Alex in amber, Sam in violet and both in teal. Use ⋯ → Traveler names to show your own names. Choose who visited when saving a place. This public edition saves visits only in this browser. It does not upload or share your travel data. Export a backup before switching devices or clearing browser data.

Year and traveler filters only change what you see. This map records first visits, not repeat trips.

Clear the whole map?

This removes both travelers’ visited places, dates, memories and photos, including places hidden by filters. You can undo this while this page stays open.

Import travel backup

This replaces the selected saved visits and memories. Undo can restore the previous map.
